Hi All!
Welcome to my "About Me" page. I spend so much time getting to know your students during our class time, I thought you should have the opportunity to get to know me! I included a bit of information about myself, and my email if you ever have any questions or concerns. I can't wait to have the best school year with you and your student!
My Story
I grew up on Florida's East Coast in a small town. I always loved working with kids, and volunteered with various camps from the time I was 11. I danced, was in my school's marching band, and worked as a camp counselor.
I attended FSU and received my Masters from their College of Education. During my time at FSU I was part of a sorority as well as a number of academic organizations. While in school I met my husband and we loved Tallahassee so much we decided to make our lives here. We enjoy traveling to the springs and different hiking trails in the area. One of our favorite trips to make is out to Providence Canyon.
Some more fun fact about me: I eat ketchup with my mac and cheese, I have the cutest puppy in the world (maybe I'm a little biased), and I get too freaked out to watch horror movies. My current favorite show is The Good Place, and I'm always in the mood the watch 10 Things I Hate About You. Although my husband and I love our occasional Star Wars marathon. I am SO excited to get to know your students and watch them learn and grow. Feel free to reach out any time!
