Something I learned while doing assignment five was how to hyperlink between slides. It was interesting to create buttons through text boxes. I also didn't realize I could disable the linear movement of the slides. Something that threw me off was that by doing so, I couldn't have effects that let me click to reveal the answers. I had my whole PowerPoint set up that way so I had to go back and create a lot more extra slides, but it turned out well once I figured everything out!

I enjoyed working with Qualtrics for Assignment 6. It was different from moat of the assignments we've had in this class. However, I do not think I see myself using it in the future. My goal is to teach kindergarten, 1st grade, or 2nd grade. I don't think this tool would be very effective for my specific students. I do think it was useful to learn, even though it may not be the best tool to use with my future students.
While looking at my classmates' blogs I've liked seeing all the different ways we've done the same assignments differently. I really have liked the posts where we can look at screenshots of different assignments. I love being creative, and I really like seeing how my peers interpreted assignments in a way different than me. I also like reading about the different things my peers have learned from different assignments.
I used the first alternate assignment and chose to complete five badges in place of the COE Research project. I had not had much experiences with badges before. No teachers that I've had have used them as part of our class. I enjoyed completing them, they were a fun way to explore different sites. I think my favorite was the "Thankful" challenge.
I'm unsure which technology tool I want to learn to use yet. I know in class we've learned about excel, but I feel I could always use to learn more about it. It has always been the tool I found most complicated. It isn't hard to enter things into columns, but making programs and things becomes a little harder. More and more positions seem to be using excel or similar programs and I would like to have a better understanding of how it works.

Hi Catey! Your powerpoint looks super cool. I love the colors and fonts. I had the same issue with having to creat extra slide - I went from 25 to 52 lol. I also agree with you about being able to see the variety in how our classmates complete assignments. It's very interesting. Good luck wtih finals!
